Charles and Anita will move into Willow Greens this winter. They’re looking forward to having everything new and fresh when they move into their new home. Anita, a part-time antiques dealer, says she has helped others move and knows how to have estate sales or garage sales. “I’m not worried about it,” she says of consolidation. “In fact, I’m really looking forward to simplifying our life and having less to manage.” Simplifying a schedule now filled with house and yard maintenance was a driving force in the couple choosing a condo at this time in their life. “Right now, I think I’m “We didn’t want to be downtown or in one of the larger projects,” Charles says. “We like that there are only 5 homes on each floor; it just feels more homey, not like an apartment building at all. And it’s also quiet. You are far enough from freeways that you don’t hear the traffic noise when you’re out on the balcony. Parklawn is a quiet street.” Both Anita and Charles say the setting of Willow Greens and their view made the choice easy for them. Anita had found it first while doing errands in Edina and when they came back, they saw the views of the park and golf course from the various units. “We think it’s just an undiscovered gem,” Charlie says. Anita is picturing enjoying the pool with their two grandchildren and reading books outside again. “I’d like to move even earlier,” she says. “It’s going to be great.”
